After School Activities to Expand Kids Horizon
A child is natrally curious about everything that happens around him. A child’s mind is always teeming with new questions. His primary source of answers and information at such a young age is  his parents. Parents can enhance and enrich his learning activities  helping  the children to learn and grow. Children can also learn through practical and inspirational ways to create a calmer and closer family bond.

Presence of parents matters:

Most of the time, parents value edifying programs like music, education in developing the personality of their child. However, they must never do the mistake of imposing  activities without the wishes of their child as it can ruin the childs interest in these activities permanently. Parents should avoind trying to live their dreams and ambitions through their children.

It is a good idea to provide activities for children based on child's interest, energy, and need levels and family's ability to accommodate the often demanding schedule. Parents should regard age as merely a number and not a stumbling block, when it comes to indulging the child’s interest.

Explore what's out there:

First the parents should know and identify the field which their child likes or is interested in, just don’t make them do the things which parents like to do. Young children should be encouraged to enjoy the sport or other activity. The parents must not pressurize the children to compete and excel in it at any cost. This is so because the pressure to perform and achieve can easily cause burnout and they no longer want to participate at all. Children at a young age must have all the fun of exploring new activities and ideas instead of worrying about the results.

Little space for them to be free:

Relationships matter more than anything else, so make sure to keep family a top priority. As children grow older they are most likely to remember enjoyable times they spent with the family members and friends. So give them time to spend their own time and just enjoy their freedom.

How much is too much?

There is no ideal number of simultaneous extracurricular activities. There is also no ready-made formula that works for each child at a particular age. So just don’t put too much of it to make them a wonder child. Rather let them do the things they are interested in and enjoy the rest.
