The school life of everybody is very important because from the school we lean many things which some how help us to stand on our feet in the outer world. The school provides us with full exposure to improve and attain the efficiency that are require to achieve our ultimate dream career of our life, so we can say that school provide us with the small world with the small level of competition in it, but due to the more concentration of student in comparison to the teacher sometime the week children can not able to come in the lime light and they remain possive in themselves only. They are unable to give the shape to their capability and creativity or skills that they posses, this inability has given the rise to the new form of the afternoon school that are only specialized in improving the creative skills, extra circular activity and capability of the child by making them interact with their social and physical environment. It purely not include the formal education but it try to combine both of the formal and co circular activity together to make the studies much more interesting as it was not previously. It was named as afternoon school because it is only started after the school is over in the afternoon. In school as most of the time of the children is spend on the academic study he might be interesting in his study and interested to know much more about his particular interested subject, he can join that specific program near by his community or in some particular college, this help in developing the self confidence with the sense of independency of learning the subject of his choice. If the interest of the child is in the field of the social activity then the child can easily explore his capability by interacting with his society, he can also join many local libraries and theaters which usually have a small club in it.
If the child needs more social activity, consider a club of some kind, like a math club or reading club. Local libraries and theaters often have such clubs, and sometimes the child’s school will offer them. Many of these clubs are parent-child oriented and this is often an opportunity for both to spend more time together. If you are interested in this and there are none nearby you—start one! Communities are also good resources for organized activities for youth. More children than ever are becoming concerned about social issues, and they find a good deal of satisfaction helping others. They also get a fist-hand account of suffering, and it helps build empathy in them and opens their eyes to the real pain of others. If it’s physical activity you’re looking for, consider dance classes or a gym that offers various activities. Swimming and basketball are also big these days, as are racquet sports. If you are already involved in a sport or physical activity, bring your child along whenever possible to help pique some interest; however, be careful not to be preachy. Most of the time children reject this tactic. Instead, let them bring friends if they want to try it. The activity does not necessarily need to be organized, just supervised. Your local YMCA or rec center may offer an open gym for teens where your child can go for two hours and participate in any one of a host of activities supervised by an employee of the gym (for safety). Sometimes you can even involve your child in the everyday activites of maintaining a household, making him or her feel like a more important part of the family. This will benefit all concerned. |
